Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 29.10.2022, rejecting the candidature of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Central Head Teacher and Head Teacher.

Learned State counsel refers to the written statement to state that since the petitioner had obtained 47.45 marks in graduation, he did not fulfil the requirement in terms of the advertisement based on the Punjab State Elementary Education (Teaching Cadre) Group-C Service Rules, 2018, as per which, it ought to have been 50%.
