JUSTICE S.TALAPATRA The instant application is filed for suspending the order of sentence dated 18.05.2015 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Court No. 2, West Tripura, Agartala in ST 105/2010 wherein the convict-petitioner was sentenced to suffer RI for seven years with fine of Rs.5,000/-, i.d. to suffer further SI for two months for commission of offence under Section 366 IPC and also sentenced to suffer RI for 10 years with fine of Rs.10,000/-, i.d. to suffer SI for four months for commission of offence under Section 376(1) IPC. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and also perused the impugned judgment.
According to us, this is not a fit case where the sentence should be suspended. Accordingly, the prayer for suspension of sentence is rejected. The IA is disposed of.
