JUSTICE S.TALAPATRA The instant application is filed by the convict appellant-applicant under Section 389 of the Cr.P.C. for suspension of sentence dated 27.09.2014 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Gomati Tripura, Udaipur in Sessions Trial No. 71 (ST/U) of 2013, convicting the appellantapplicant for offence punishable under Sections 376(1), 448 of IPC and sentencing him to suffer RI for 7 years with a fine of Rs. 5,000/-, in default of payment of fine to suffer RI for further 2 months and also sentenced to suffer RI for 6 months. Heard Mr. A. Nandi, learned counsel appearing for the appellant-applicant and Mr. A. Ghosh, learned P.P. appearing for the State respondent. It appears from the record that the paper book has already been prepared and we have also gone through the impugned judgment. According to us, this is not a fit case where the order of sentence should be suspended. Accordingly, the prayer for suspension of sentence is rejected.
