JUSTICE S.TALAPATRA The instant application is filed for suspending the order of sentence dated 29.09.2015 passed by the learned Special Judge, West Tripura, Agartala in case No. Special (POCSO) 22 of 2015 wherein the learned Special Judge convicted the appellant petitioner under Section 365 of the IPC and sentenced him to suffer 7 years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,000/- in default of payment of fine to suffer RI for further 3 months and under Section 4 of the POCSO Act, to suffer RI for life and to pay a fine of Rs.20,000/- in default of payment of fine to suffer RI for further 6 months.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr AK Bhowmik, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellant petitioner submits that he is not pressing the petition at this stage.
