On the last occasion a direction was given to Mr. K. K. Maiti, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CGST to enquire from the concerned department as to who has blocked the credit ledger of the petitioner.

Today, Mr. Maiti has filed a communication made to him by the Assistant Commissioner (Legal), CGST & CX, Kolkata (North) Commissionerate wherein the authority states that the said account has not been blocked by the Commissionerate.

Mr.

Abhrotosh Majumdar, learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the State CGST also makes a similar submission that they have not blocked the account of the petitioner.

In light of the above, the authorities concerned are directed to look into the technical glitch that has taken place with regard to the petitioners credit ledger and, accordingly, fix it within next fourteen days from date. The documents filed by Mr. Maiti be kept with the record.

The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
