The learned advocate representing the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has produced copy of the letter of appointment of the petitioner to the post of Assistant Teacher (class IX and X) 11th RLST (AT), 2010 against recommendation of West Bengal Regional School Service Commission (WR) dated 13th February, 2023 addressed to the petitioner.
Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said letter of appointment was not handed over to
the petitioner. The petitioner has been directed to join the school within fifteen working days from the date of issuance of the appointment letter. On account of nonreceipt of the said appointment letter, the petitioner could not join the school.
The copy of the appointment letter has been handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner in Court today. The petitioner is directed to collect the original from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The petitioner is further directed to takes step in accordance with the said letter of appointment.
As the petitioner received the copy of the appointment letter in Court today, accordingly, the Board is directed to permit the petitioner to join the school within ten working days from date. Necessary consequential steps in the matter shall be taken by the authorities.
List the matter on 16th March, 2023.
Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
