The petitioners have filed one supplementary affidavit affirmed on 10th September, 2021. In the said supplementary affidavit the allegations of the applicants/petitioners are that being qualified the contemnors have not given appointment to applicant nos.1, and 2 who come within the 'O.B.C. - A' category.

Learned counsel for the Board submits that in terms of the report of the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education already placed before this Court in connection with C.P.A.N.

972 of 2019, the applicant nos.1, and 2 would be given appointment by the concerned District Primary School Councils in primary schools as Assistant Teachers.

Therefore, this contempt application is disposed of in respect of applicant nos.1, and 2 for the sake of convenience the parties have submitted that this writ application may be disposed of completely. However, liberty may be granted to the other applicants to file fresh contempt application. Such liberty therefore, is granted.

This Court hopes and expects that the applicant nos.1, and 2 will be given appointment within a period of six weeks from date.
