And In Re : Sharuk @ Musaraf .... petitioner Mr. Arup Kumar Bhowmick ....for the petitioner Mr. Shiladitya Banerjee ...... for the State Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 198 days. He prays for bail. State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered statements of the victims. There are ample materials connecting the petitioner with the crime. His bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits. Vulnerable witness has not been examined as yet. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
