The prayer for bail is made on behalf of the principal accused in the present case on placing two documents which support the submission of the learned senior counsel that the father of the petitioner herein has expired on 20.12.2025. After hearing the learned counsel appearing for the State and the petitioner, it appears, prima facie, that the petitioner herein is the principal accused, whose bail has been rejected earlier.

It is also on record that the trial in the present case has progressed substantially. Almost twelve witnesses out of twenty-nine witnesses have already been examined. Considering all these facts and the fact that the petitioner is now in custody for more than two years, the petitioner herein is granted bail upon furnishing a bond of

Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Murshidabad on condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court on every date of hearing and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event, the petitioner fail to appear before the Trial Court without justifiable cause, the Trial Court shall be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

The application for bail being CRM(M) 2904 of 2025 is disposed of.
