Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for bail of the accused on the ground that the petitioner allegedly has been implicated in the present case solely based on the confession of the co-accused.

On the other hand, the learned counsel for the State on placing the Case Diary submits that other than the confession of the accused there is also substantive evidence on record against the present petitioner.

It is further submitted that trial has commenced and is progressing. As such considering the heinous nature of crime committed in the present case, the prayer should not be entertained.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on considering the materials on record and the stage of trial this Court relying upon the judgment in Supreme Court in

Case of Criminal Appeal No. 4003 of 2025 Mamman Khan Versus State of Haryana directs the Trial Court to make all endevour to complete the trial in the present case by conducting day to day trial, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the other side, considering that the petitioner is in custody for two years.

The prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. 6.
