Heard the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Counsel for the State. Perused the case diary.

It appears from the case diary that charge-sheet has been submitted in the present case and trial has commenced and the next date is fixed in February, 2026. 3.

On perusal of the case diary, it appears that the issue in the present case relates to a family property dispute and though the petitioner was not FIR named, he was chargesheeted. 4.

Counsel for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that there is sufficient evidence on record against the present petitioner. 5.

Considering the nature of the allegations and the fact that admittedly charge-sheet has been submitted, no further

useful purpose will be served if the petitioner is detained in the custody at this stage.

Accordingly, the petitioner, Rajat Das, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Nadia, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the Trial Court on every date of hearing and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever and on further condition that he shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court and shall provide a local address and mobile number of the Investigating Officer of the case as well the Trial Court and shall not leave the said jurisdiction without prior permission of the Court in case of emergency.

In the event he fails to appear before the Trial Court without any justifiable cause, the Trial Court shall be at liberty to cancel his bail automatically without reference to this Court.

The application being C.R.M.(M) 2906 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of necessary formalities.
