MNS.

W. P. A. 9485 of 2020 (Via video conference) Shri Gautam Agarwala Vs.

The State of West Bengal and others Mr. Zeeshan Haque, Mr. Sandip Agarwal, Mr. Mrigank Kejriwal ... for the petitioner.

Mr. Debrup Bhattacharjee, Mr. Pradip Kumar Tulsyan ...for the respondent no. 5.

At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent no. 5 points out that the writ petition has become infructuous since the impugned orders passed in connection with an execution application by the West Bengal State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kolkata, have already been satisfied.

Although learned counsel for the petitioner raises questions as to the jurisdiction of the said Commission to pass such an order against a third party to the proceeding, that is the petitioner, since the writ petition has been rendered infructuous, there is no scope of interference.

Accordingly, W.P.A. 9485 of 2020 is dismissed as infructuous.

There will be no order as to costs.
