Learned counsel for the petitioners places two consecutive orders dated 17th February, 2020 and 25th September, 2020 where a coordinate Bench upon considering the materials on record and the prima facie involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence of kidnapping for ransom, had rejected the applications for bail. Learned counsel submits that there has been no subsequent event which would warrant a fresh look at the facts.

Upon perusing the relevant part of the First Information Report, we are not inclined to allow the application. The materials

on record also clearly disclose the gravity of the offence and the role of the petitioners in the alleged crime. C.R.M.11264 of 2020 is, accordingly rejected. (Kausik Chanda, J.) (Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
