The Court: The appeal is directed against an order dated December 21, 2020 by which the interim order sought by the appellant appears to have been declined and the matter adjourned till January 15, 2021.

Affidavits appear to have been exchanged in the petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. It will be open to the appellant herein to seek an early listing of the matter immediately after the vacation. The respondent has indicated that it has no objection to the matter being taken up earlier or as expeditiously as possible. In view of the above, the merits of the matter need not be gone into, particularly, since the matter was at the final hearing stage and has not yet been disposed of. It is hoped that the matter receives the attention of the Arbitration Court as expeditiously as the business of that Court would permit. APO No. 161 of 2020 along with the interim application therein stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
